First Mölkky European Championship in Tallinn and Tallinn Cup 2014

In the first Mölkky European Championship 50 three-member teams attended from Finland, France, Czech Republic and Estonia. Most teams were from Finland and Estonia. First Mölkky European Championship took place on Saturday 8th March 2014 in Tallin.

From Czech Republic started two completed teams, CSM 1 (Lubomír Vlk, Milan Varga and Michal Antoš) and CSM 2 (Josef Buzek, Leoš Školoud a Markéta Palmášiová). Our teams finished first subgroups in third place. In second subgroups our teams ended.

The final was played at the very end of the program, so all participants of the tournament could watch it. In the final dominated MC Sorsa, defended Otsakool from Estonia 3:1.

 And who got to the pedestal:

1. MC Sorsa - (Finland) Joonas Soini, Pekka Lintunen, Keijo Anttila
2. Otsakool - (Estonia) Vahur Kõlvart, Aivar Vetik, Rannus Mäsak
3. Wood Pub 2 - (Finland) Eikka Laaksonen, Ville Petäjämäki, Harry Asp

In the Tallinn Cup 2014 60 two-members teams attended from Finland, France, Czech Republic and Estonia. Most teams were from Finland and Estonia. From France started four teams and from Czech Republic three completed teams, CSM1 (Lubomír Vlk, Milan Varga), CSM 2 (Michal Antoš, Leoš Školoud) and CSM 3 (Josef Buzek, Markéta Palmášiová).

CSM1 and CSM2 ended in first subgroups. Team CSM 1 was last in the group, because they got zero in game. Team CSM 3 after three well-played rounds lost possibility to proceed among the best two teams because they got zero in fourth game. But in last round team CSM 1 didn´t hesitate, won the game and won 3th place in the subgroup before the Angels53 from France.

The best team from Czech in Tallinn Cup was team CSM 2. Team CSM 2 after well-played rounds won 2nd place in subgroup. Second subgroup had three participants. The CSM 2 won the last game and in second subgroup won 2nd place. 

 And who got to the pedestal:

1. MC Sorsa – (Finsko) Joonas Soini, Pekka Lintunen
2. Eesti – (Estonsko) Märt Niinemägi, Beto Miljand
3. Wood Pub 3 – (Finsko) Eikka Laaksonen, Ville Petäjämäki

In conclusion I would like to thank the Estonian Association for beautiful weekend, CSM members for great representation of association. I know that everything wasn´t perfect (for example missing explanation in English, time delay). For our teams was problem that we didn´t know the game system before tournaments and the game system was changed during the day). But hinterland was great and I believe we will meet again on the 3th Czech Mölkky Championship. So don´t hesitate and throw!
